Preliminary psychometric scale development using the mixed methods Delphi technique

This study implemented a Delphi Method; systematic technique which relies on panel of experts to achieve consensus, evaluate questionnaire items would be the most relevant for developing new Propensity Trust scale. Following an initial research team moderation phase, two surveys were administered academic lecturers, professors and Ph.D. candidates specialising in fields either individual differences, human-robot interaction, or occupational psychology. Results from 28 produced 33 final that deemed evaluating trust. We discuss importance content validity when implementing scales, while emphasising need more documented scale development processes Furthermore, we propose could utilised as effective economical method achieving validity, also providing greater creation transparency.
